1. Who We Are
RenueTech ("we", "us", "our") is a business software service operated in Malaysia. We provide a client management and automated reminder platform for small and medium businesses.
For the purposes of Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010, RenueTech acts as both data controller (for account and billing data) and data processor (for client data entered by our subscribers). Our subscribers are the data controllers for the personal data of their own end-clients.

2. Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of data:

We do not collect sensitive personal data such as identity card numbers, health information, or financial account numbers from your clients.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use the data we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the RenueTech service
- Process your subscription and send billing receipts
- Send WhatsApp reminder messages on your behalf to your clients
- Respond to your support enquiries
- Send essential service notifications (e.g. payment failures, service updates)
- Detect and prevent fraud or misuse of the platform
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not use your data or your clients' data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.
4. Where Your Data Is Stored
All subscriber and client data is stored in a centralised MySQL database on a managed server, maintained and controlled by RenueTech. This includes your account credentials, settings, and all client records you enter into the dashboard. RenueTech is responsible for the security and access control of this database.
Your data resides in RenueTech's managed infrastructure with restricted, password-protected access and automated daily backups. You may request a full export of your data at any time by contacting us.
Google Calendar is the one exception: if you connect Google Calendar in Settings, events are written directly to your personal Google Calendar account. RenueTech does not store calendar data.
Google's servers may be located outside Malaysia, including in the United States or Singapore. Google complies with international data protection standards including ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
5. Third-Party Services
RenueTech uses the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Google Calendar (Google LLC) stores calendar events if you choose to connect Google Calendar in Settings. Google Privacy Policy
- Telegram (Telegram FZ-LLC) delivers operational alerts (such as new signup notifications) to RenueTech administrators. Telegram Privacy Policy
- Meta WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta Platforms, Inc.) — sends reminder messages to your clients. WhatsApp Privacy Policy
- Stripe, Inc. — processes subscription payments. We never see or store your full card details. Stripe Privacy Policy
- Google Fonts (Google LLC) — loads web fonts on our website. Google may collect IP addresses for this purpose.
6. Data Retention
Active accounts: We retain your account data for as long as your account is active.
After cancellation: We will retain your account data for 90 days after cancellation, then permanently delete it. All client records you entered are permanently deleted at the same time.
WhatsApp message logs: Records of messages sent are retained for 12 months for audit and support purposes, then deleted.
You may request earlier deletion of your account data by contacting us.
7. Your Rights Under PDPA
Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you have the following rights regarding your personal data held by RenueTech:
- Right of access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Right of correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Right to withdraw consent — withdraw consent to our processing of your data at any time (this will require account closure)
- Right to prevent processing for direct marketing — opt out of any marketing communications
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at dannytkc@hotmail.com. We will respond within 21 days as required under the PDPA.
Your clients' data: As the data controller for your own clients' data, you are responsible for responding to any requests your clients make regarding their personal data. RenueTech will assist you in fulfilling such requests upon request.
8. Cookies
Our website uses minimal cookies for essential functionality only:
- Session cookies — to keep you logged in during a session. These expire when you close your browser.
- Google Fonts — Google may set cookies when loading fonts. You can block these via your browser settings.
We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or similar tracking tools.
9. Children's Privacy
RenueTech is a business tool intended for use by adults operating businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from persons under the age of 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the RenueTech dashboard. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
